Understand the charge Lien TBMS, What is this?

Dear Forums Track Team,

My Nmae is Milind and I am holding two accounts with your bank, a savings account and another linked to my trading activities. As I haven’t been trading for some time, the latter had insufficient funds. To my surprise, I recently noticed a deduction of Rs. 1100 under the “User Lien” category.

What is most concerning is that this deduction was made without any prior notification or warning. Had I been informed that my account could incur charges due to low activity or insufficient funds, I would have taken action to avoid this situation.

A deduction of this nature, without any prior communication, feels both unexpected and unfair. Kotak, being a reputed institution, has always been a trusted financial partner. However, this incident has seriously shaken that trust.

As a result, I’m now compelled to close my account and will not be recommending Kotak to my network. I urge you to review this case and take the necessary corrective action. There is some deduction as below mentioned:
